臺灣宗教融合與在地化
By 張家麟台灣民間宗教儀式人類學者的紀錄已經很多，反而從社會學的理論來解讀的作品卻相當有限；本書蒐集八篇論文，全部與當代台灣民間宗教儀式、信仰、發展與信仰認同有關，希望能夠帶領讀者進入宗教與社會兩者互動間的學術解讀。由於政治體制容許民間宗教的存在，台灣民間宗教保留相當多的傳統漢人宗教儀式，異於中國大陸的民間宗教傳統甚多。因此，在台灣從事民間宗教儀式調查，固然有其困難，但對研究者而言，這裡已經是華人社會宗教研究的寶地。本書研究台灣民間宗教儀式中的禮斗、叩問、收驚、扶鸞等儀式，運用宗教融合、本土化等概念，來對民間宗教的儀式提出變遷的解讀。希望能夠理解處於後現代社會的台灣，仍然保留許多傳統漢人宗教儀式的內在因素。當然，這些儀式可能深受宗教主事者（宗教領袖）理念的影響而產生變遷，也有可能是信徒對現代社會的需求為宗教領袖所發現，而對儀式賦予新的意涵而產生變化。筆者對這些儀式的解讀，仍需要讀者進入本書中細細品味，才可能深刻理解這些問題的表像與答案。
