The Russian Revolution broke out in the middle of World War I and on the Eastern front fighting was causing even more loss of life than in France. The British Parliament tried to monitor and analyze progress of the revolution by gathering information from British citizens caught up in it. They published these reports without comment, to provide a first-hand account of what was happening. This book contains an extract from a Foreign Office review of the nature of the Revolution, plus the verbatim accounts of those who could get their reports out of the country. Uncovered Editions are historic official papers which have not previously been available in popular form.
