A collection intended for students, presenting primary sources (some of them excerpts, and some of them translated) and study questions designed to stimulate discussion. Vol. II deals with the period of the 17th century to the present. Ch. 9 (pp. 392-436), "The Jewish Holocaust", contains excerpts from documents (e.g. German official documents, Nazi leaders' speechs, eyewitness accounts and memoirs, and Nuremberg Trial documents) pertaining to Nazi anti-Jewish policies, the Nazi genocide of the Jews, Jewish resistance, and postwar trials against those responsible for the mass murders.
