The aim of Writing in Nursing: A Brief Guide is to provide nursing students with a practical guide to writing, with clear instructions and concrete examples from students and professionals. In lieu of a conventional rhetorical structure, this book will use the nursing process as the framework forits writing strategies: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. It will emphasize that writing like a professional nurse requires thinking like one.
