Poets and scientists alike have seen the eyes as windows to the mind, and nowhere have the eyes been more important for understanding the mind than in the work of developmental psychologists studying infant perception and cognition. Here, the authors studied age-related change in anticipation and reaction time using the Visual Expectation Paradigm (VExP).
