Browning married the English poet Robert Browning (1812-1889) in 1846. Some of Browning's works include "The Battle of Marathon" (1820), "Aurora Leigh" (1857), "The Cry of the Children" (1841), "The Runaway Slave at Pilgrim's Point" (1849), and "Poems Before Congress" (1860).
