Two main processes are constantly going on in the system tissue formation and tissue disintegration. 2. During tissue disintegration there are formed various products destined for elimination; the chief of these are urea, carbonic acid, and heat. 3. Urea is eliminated by the kidneys, carbonic acid by the lungs, and heat by the skin. 4.
