Nor did he consider that he had been put into the ministry on account of any worthiness, or faithfulness, 01 usefulness foreseen. He thanked the Lord Jesus Christ who had put him into the ministry, and who enabled him to execute it. He who commissioned him, imparted to him the gifts and grace which he exercised, and made him faithful. Having thus spoken of the exceedingly abun dant grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, he uttered the declaration recorded in the' 15th verse of this chapter, which contains a summary of the whole gospel.
