Description

This is the 8th edition of this reference work for architects and engineers. Organized around the framework of the Uniform Construction Index, it covers a broad span of information required for architectural design and construction technology. Included in this edition are a section on historic preservation, a revised and expanded energy section, an expanded life safety section, new design information for furnishings and interiors, and new material on roofing, security, and public assembly. The section on sports facility design has been completely revised, and there are extensive changes to the mechanical/electrical section. The table of contents was organized by the industry's 16 divisions of construction, and is complemented by over 10,000 drawings.
