Presents results of censuses of three gannet colonies in the Atlantic region (Funk Island, Baccalieu Island, and Cape Saint Mary's, Newfoundland). The censuses were undertaken in 1999 using aerial photography, and aerial survey & photographic analysis methods are described. Population results are tabulated by colony and sub-colony, and population trends are discussed with reference to results of earlier censuses.
