The Ohio River Scenic Byway, designated a national scenic byway in 1996, travels through quaint river towns, thriving cities, and beautiful countryside on its 302-mile journey through southern Indiana. Communities along the Ohio River Scenic Byway include Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Rising Sun, Vevay, Madison, Jeffersonville, Clarksville, New Albany, Corydon, Leavenworth, Cannelton, Tell City, Troy, Rockport, Newburgh, Evansville, and Mount Vernon. The byway celebrates the scenic, recreational, and historic in its architecture, winding roads, and overlooks.
