Description

Young widow Isobel Carnegie is much sought after for her beauty, well as her fortune. When she is kidnapped by Highland Chieftain Hector MacLean, it seems he is only interested in her money. Isobel is horrified by the hard life led by the clansmen at Ardshee and when Hector is called to join the forces of Bonnie Prince Charlie she seizes her chance of escape. It is only when she meets up again with her once-proud husband, now broken hearted by the loss of his clan at Culloden, that Isobel realizes where her heart truly lies.
