Description

This work represents an original combination of Schutzian life-world theory with newer versions of critical theory in the field of multiculturalism and identity politics. As such, it represents a novel use of social phenomenology. It is a comparative qualitative work exploring the social foundations for different forms of identity politics based on the position as 'other' in western Europe today.
