She served as Chaplain at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and as Hospice Chaplain at Gundersen Lutheran Hospice in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She also served as a national speaker for Compassionate Bereavement Care with Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Reverend Linner is the author of the self-published children's book "My Brother Dave: Living Through a Loved One's Death." She has also written articles for "Thanatos," "Lutheran Women Today," " Connections," and "The Lutheran." Kris and her husband, Michael Erickson, are the parents of two daughters.
