Fundamental Theology is fundamental because it is about how we see the mysteries of God, his Christ, the Church, and the sacraments of the Church. It is about how these things show themselves-how God shows them-to the eyes of faith. If Christ and the Church are things shown, fundamental theology is about the very showing itself.
