Description

Abstract: A guide for finding and using essential materials relevant to the nursing field is presented. General references, annotated citations of books, and lists of periodicals pertinent to various areas of nursing comprise the major portion of the book. The second section provides an introduction to the use of library materials, from catalog cards to computerized literature searches; information also is provided on library classification schemes, medical subject headings (MeSH), indexes, and abstracts. It will help those who must research information on a clinical problem, prepare a paper, or keep up in relevant areas. (kbc).
