Games are David Williamson's forte and corporate games are the target for his two newest plays. Sam, the victim of Corporate Vibes is a real estate developer, a self-made man who gets his way by shouting. When his staff mutiny and he finds himself confronted by a soft-spoken mediator and demands for buildings which 'delight the eye', the stage is set for vintage farce. Face to Face takes up the issue in a more serious vein. Glen is in his mid-20s, all brawn and not much brain. All he ever wanted to do was build scaffolding. Then one day in anger he rams the boss's Mercedes. Glen elects to have a judicial community conference in place of a trial, and the audience become witnesses to an emotional debate which draws out a trail of responsibility extending from Glen to his work-mates, his mother, his employer and to society itself.
