Description

How many times have you looked admiringly at someone in great shape and thought to yourself, "Wow, she has nice weight?" I bet never. You don't notice someone's weight. You notice bright eyes, healthy skin, muscle tone, pleasing shape, and the absence of excess fat. In other words, you notice characteristics that are attractive. Your weight is not all that important to you. How do I know? Because no woman would care if she weighed 300 pounds if she were a firm and shapely size two. No man would care if he weighed 300 pounds if he had a 29-inch waist and chiseled abdominal muscles. So what are you really saying when you say, "I want to lose weight?" I bet that you are really saying, "I want to look attractive. I want to feel good about myself. I want to feel healthy, strong and confident; and I don't want to be fat." The problem is, simply losing body weight will not get you there. The title of this book is deliberately deceptive. Initially you may have thought, "What do you mean stop trying to lose weight? Have you seen me?" Yes, I have seen you, and if you have too much fat on your body of course I want you to lose weight, but I want you to lose the right kind of weight. Yes, there is a distinction. Not all weight loss is created equal. It can be good or bad, and the path that leads to not only the look you really want, but also the life you want, just may be the one less traveled. Getting on that path requires that you think differently.
