Doreth was born and raised in a Christian environment. Her parents were ardent Christians who taught their household about the mercies of God and his profound love and caring for mankind. Her parents emphasized the importance of studying and memorizing the Holy Scripture. Also writing God’s word on the table of their heart with the hope that when older that these words would not depart from them. From her early years, she was overwhelmed with the relationship that the man of God, Enoch, established with God while walking with him as Enoch developed a friendship and bond with God. It was difficult to understand God’s patience and profound interest in mankind. Although they exhibited such rebellious behaviour, ingratitude and preferred to worship idols, God contrived means to save and restore man back to him. The chosen whom He called to carry out his plans on earth, some of these men are in this book. As she researched the Holy Scriptures, Doreth was greatly blessed and her spiritual vision was enlightened. She prays that everyone who has chosen to read this book will be spiritually blessed while discovering their purpose for living and experiencing a closer relationship with God. Most importantly, it is her great hope that readers will have a greater understanding of God’s love, grace and mercy towards mankind.
