Nothing remains, not even the GloWind-stick.Lawrence remembers the name ZULT. He holds the medallion up to his own GloWind-stick. He reads the one word on the medallion, 'ZULT.' It is his medallion now. ---Royal Edict 207 - Wingions are evil witches and considered outlaws. It is illegal to be a Wingion, and all Wingion covenants are banned.Yet - there is always a Wingion in the Palace.---Venture Inn looks like someone cut out the middle of an old pirate ship, lifted it out of the water, closed up the ends, and set it down on land. But she wasn't a pirate ship.There is also the mysterious dark blue wood used to build the inn. Not even the university can identify the species. They aren't sure it came from this world.---Giant bats, hundreds of them are hanging from every branch. They measure nearly ten feet in length from their massive claws to the tip of their giant heads. Their sail-like black wings wrap around them like blankets. They are thankfully all asleep ...or so it appears. Lawrence hears a thump behind him. Wally fainted.---"That's a lie detector!" Pete shouts. "You can't just walk in here and strap a kid to a lie detector.---"The bow of the wing-ship 'The Night Mare' is revealed. The carved figurehead is an enormous dark horse rearing up with its forelegs striking out as to trample anything in her path. Her massive mane rises wildly above her thick neck; nostrils flared, teeth bared. And the eyes burn with an eerie green glow. ---Occasionally flapping their leathery wings and then gliding for a while, the RapSoars kept moving away. They are disinterested in The Night Mare and have likely stared down the barrel of an impailer before.---Lawrence can finally see her face. It is covered with grease and soot, partially covering the many freckles. A thick reddish bang hangs across one of her green eyes. The green eyes are sharp and penetrating. Lawrence has seen eyes like this before...Becky.---The Super Duper Seven turn around to find an unknown and hideous Qwyx. Like all Qwyx, it's the size of a hummingbird and flew like one. But this one has the scaly skin of a reptile which includes a long lizard-like tail. Thank goodness she is wearing a disguise.---"Hey Puggins, is that stinky smell you, or the cheese?" Wally gently tugs back the reins of his goat cart, pulling it to a smooth stop. No one insults the cheese.---The Stone Demon releases his grip. The elder's arm has completely transformed into solid rock, hanging heavily on his side as if it belongs on a statue. The Stone Demon evokes his mysterious ability and dissolves into the stone.
