A multidisciplinary approach to the care of women with gynaecological cancer - with treatment delivered in linked local or specialist centres - has been established in the UK. The second edition of this book therefore includes chapters which focus on the multidisciplinary approach. Chapters on pathology, radiology, chemotherapy and radiotherapy will increase understanding of these disciplines that are central to the care of women with gynaecological cancers. The book is primarily designed to provide a comprehensive summary for candidates preparing for the Part 2 MRCOG examination, and as such covers the RCOG curriculum for gynaecological oncology.
