Based on Chang's teaching and clinical experience, information on mechanical ventilation and critical care is available in many RT textbooks. Unfortunately, the information is scattered among different textbooks and the sources of information are not sequenced and integrated. This book provides proper sequencing and integration of knowledge between mechanical ventilation and critical care. The first 40% to 50% of the book will review a condensed version of mechanical ventilation and the rest of the book will cover relevant critical care topics that are important to respiratory therapists practicing in a critical care setting"--
