Description
Sukhvinder Singh Bedi was born in New Delhi, India, to a Sikh couple and was raised in Calcutta. It was his dream to come to the United States to study, and he attended a small Christian college in northeast Tennessee. It was there that he befriended the entire community, including staff member Paula Cutler. She has lived in the region her entire life, but she loves to meet the many diverse students coming to her small school. Although Paula comes from an evangelical Christian background, she and Sukhi love to exchange ideas about their lives, their religions, and their philosophies. That dialogue is the basis for writing this book. In it you can see how differently each approaches life and what makes the Sikh and Christian religions so close.
