While passing through England they rescue a young girl from working in a whorehouse. When the three land in Africa, they rescue a young colored slave named Sam. These four young people journey to the center of Africa. This is the story of their adventure in this wild and beautiful land. Part Two: In mid 1800's the potato famine killed thousands, and destroyed the beauty of Scotland. This led to Maureen and her sisters answering an advertisement for, "Brides needed in Africa". While traveling through Africa, they briefl y cross paths with the Russian boys and learn about the Three Cords'. This is an action packed adventure, it's also a moving love story. _____________________________________________________________ Review Great job. One reason I enjoyed the book was the many stories I'd grown up with, hyenas and ants eating people, were confi rmed. My children after reading your novel say now they understand me better. Next one please! G.G. Arizona
