The aims and scope of this encyclopedia are to present the basic knowledge for performance of an integrated environmental and ecologically sound management system. In the Topical Table of Contents, a seven-step procedure for an integrated and ecologically sound management is presented and discussed. The proposed seven steps imply that the environmental problem, its sources, and the ecosystem affected are clearly defined and to the extent possible also quantified.
