Description

A schoolteacher by trade, Robert Justice just wanted to get away for the summer. His plan: to crank up his motorcycle and make his way across the Great American West. That all changes when threatening storm clouds over the mountains of Colorado lead to a chance encounter at a small-town restaurant in a place called Level Rock. There, Robert meets two young women and affects changes in both of their lives. The first, Becky, is the owner of the town's only restaurant whose business has dried up as the town's population has died away. The second, Mirakeem, is a lonely girl who has lost everything she knew and everyone she loved. Robert comes across a mysterious old map that seems to have connections to both young ladies, but just how and what the map really means he cannot be sure. While investigating Level Rock and the rundown mining site miles outside of town, Robert is aided by a mysterious young Indian boy, Little Eagle. Mysteries abound and Robert must use all his wits to uncover the answers. This is the first book in a second series titled The Little Eagle Series. The books in this series are: Indian Summer, Christmas With Little Eagle, Little Eagle Saves a Spy, The Golden Cross, White Panther's Legacy.
