Reverend Jim Donovan escaped his troublesome past as well as the care of the evil Dr. Pe’re and moved with his family to the peaceful town of Paradise, South Carolina. Dr. Pe’re has found him again, and after years of manipulation, the doctor is ready to collect his due. But someone else now fights for the salvation of Jim’s soul. Norma Hutchins, a psychic octogenarian, is intent on stopping the destruction of the reverend. Jim finds himself facing his own battles as a supernatural storm rages on, causing him great peril on the widow’s walk. Will he rise above his demons and find forgiveness—or will his own sin destroy him, along with all the people he loves.
