Description
West Point graduate Miller led American soldiers in Vietnam in 1968 as a captain. He shares the story of their struggle to survive and prevail. By building schools for poor Vietnamese villages, they showed the Vietnamese that they were there to help them. This had a dramatic effect on the local people. Had the program been more widely implemented, he feels that America could have won the war.
