Voices Within was first written as a speech in the hopes that one day I can be a spokes person for those suffering with a mental disorder. The book quickly took foot as I began to describe my childhood and all the emotions, anger, anxiety, turmoil that I have been facing in life and it began to come out on paper that I just could not stop writing about what was inside penned up for all those years. This is a story of love, heartache, disappointments, God, relationships and family. Everything bundled into one. A real and true life story of struggles, pain and coping with mental illness. With a recurring theme of the affects and aftermath of being verbally and emotionally abused. The book speaks out about the consequences and the impact abuse can have on one’s life. With a quest to find true love in this harsh and often cruel world.
