Many people lack confidence in their ability to understand the Bible. Many times different teachers give different interpretations to the same passage, causing confusion. The goal of this book is to provide simple methods for determining what the author actually meant. In School, students are taught ways of checking their answers so they can be sure they are right. There are ways of checking one's interpretation of the scriptures as well. Unfortunately, just as most kids assume they are right and don't check their work, most Bible students don't check their conclusions, other than to see if there are other people who agree with them. This results in most of the confusion about what the Bible says. The techniques in this book minimize mis-understandings, then provide a way of checking the conclusions that are developed, providing great assurance as to one's correct understanding.
