In Book 3, Elizabeth and her team, along with Queen Danielle's fairies need to find the other wands and neutralize their magic quickly. They also learn that the wand's magical ripples have attracted several vicious fairy clans from across the pond that they'll need to deal with along the way. One fairy in particular presents the greatest threat because he breathes fire, carries a poisonous spear and musical instruments that when played lulls his victims to sleep, making it easier to injure them. The team handles this bad fairy in a unique way. Fortunately, Santa stops by on Christmas morning and each team member receives special gifts that will equip them for the job. This book introduces Elspeth, the house fairy, who will continue through Book 5. She serves; she cleans; and she protects. The team sees a lot of action, as they learn the ins and outs of magic together, they form a close bond.
