A year ago, I could not have imagined what God had planned for my life. In late 2013, after stepping out in faith and obedience to the call of God, I began to awaken in the middle of the night with lines of poetry running through my head. Realizing that this was something new and special, I got up and began to write by the light of a small flashlight as the Holy Spirit fed me line after line of poetry. Often, the words flowed and the poem was quickly finished. At other times, a poem unfolded over hours or even days. Occasionally, the poems came one after another; and once, four separate poems developed simultaneously. The result is this little book of easily read, reflective, comforting and inspiring poetry. Its existence is proof that we are never too old to be used by God for His honor and glory. When God calls you into service, He will equip you with the abilities and resources to accomplish His will. ... I pray those who read it are forever changed, Their souls redirected and lives rearranged. I pray the lost receive salvation, and saints receive new revelation. And when my time on earth is done, I'll hear You say "Well done, faithful one!" Passage from "Well Done, Faithful One" Married to her soul mate for 34 years, Kathy is the mother of two grown sons.
