Description

County Lines offers new evidence to the study of gang organisation, structure, membership and how vulnerable and young people get trapped in this behaviour, with the voices of gang member, police offers woven throughout the book. A 'county line' is when a gang extends their drug dealing enterprise from urban populations into county suburbs and villages by taking advantage of young or vulnerable individuals. Based on extensive interviews, this book will explore and expose the hidden world of 'county lines', how they work, the impact upon young people and what the authorities are doing about it.
