This book is a diary of the 2016 Phillies minor league system. I am a lifelong fan and a baseball junkie. I live in the Clearwater, FL area from the end of October thru April and spend most every day at either Carpenter Complex or Bright House Field watching the Phillies train. From May thru September we live in the Philly area. I have spring training season tickets and also subscriptions to both MLB and MILB television so I can watch games I don't personally attend. This summer we attended games in Reading, Williamsport and Lehigh Valley. I write a Phillies Facebook page and each day I write about game recaps, analysis and transactions of the Phillies. This book is a compilation of those items as they pertain to the minor leagues and is presented in chronological order as things occurred, consider it a fans view yearbook of the season and hope you enjoy it as an ongoing storybook or as a reference to different points of what happened during the season. Throughout the book you will find pictures taken by Cheryl Pursell who photographs game action for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and on occasion the Reading Fightens. She is an excellent photographer and I am honored she agreed to the inclusion of her work.
