Andrew Lang (31 March 1844 - 20 July 1912) was a Scottish poet and novelist who is the most well known collector of fairy tales, myths and folklore. Originally published in 1889; The Blue Fairy Book was Andrew Lang's first widely known publication of fairy tales. This collection includes Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Snow-White and Rose-Red, The Forty Thieves, Cinderella, or the Glass Slipper and many more. 37 stories in all!
