《机密档案中新发现的毛泽东讲话》

 本书收录了79篇毛泽东接见外宾的讲话和指示，起自1955年12月8日，毛会见印度驻华大使的谈话；终至1976年5月27日，毛逝世前最后一次接见外宾，会见巴基斯坦总理布托。

毛泽东这些谈话的对象，大体上有三类：有一些是社会主义阵营“兄弟国家”如苏联、波兰、罗马尼亚和朝鲜等国的领导人；更大量的，是所谓“第三世界”国家如印度、越南、东南亚诸国和非洲国家领导人；也有少数是西方国家如美国、法国、日本等国政要。

这些谈话，均爲从世界各地顶尖大学图书馆的特藏部门找到的珍贵的中共外事机密档案，首次完整集中披露。此前不仅在文革中的机密级的中央文件里，而且在文革中流行的由群衆组织编印的形形色色的《毛泽东思想万岁》中，均未包括或没有全文披露。这些讲话和指示，不仅涵盖了毛泽东时代中共外交活动的重要轨迹，而且体现出毛泽东的国际战略思路、对世界格局前景观察和判断的演变逻辑，具有很高的史料价值。
