What began as an ordinary, star-filled night of shepherds watching over their flocks ended with something SPECTACULAR AND DEFINITELY EXTRA-ORDINARY! I never tire of reading the Biblical account in Luke of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This poem of the event from the shepherds' point of view is my way of bringing it to life for children of all ages--including the "young at heart." May the Lord be glorified in this effort!
