Reach for the Stars is the memoir of the twenty-first century mystic Mark Janssen. Here he describes his earliest memories of conversations in his crib with God, Mary, Jesus and angels and saints. Originally from a small rural town in the Upper Midwest, Mark was raised in a traditional Catholic family. This book talks about how he was strongly discouraged from pursuing the development of his unfolding mystical abilities even as a small child. It was from his maternal grandmother that he learned he was descended from many generations of mystics. She taught and encouraged Mark to always be in contact with the angels. His grandmother instructed him to always listen to them and to God. Here we read how the author grew into adulthood with the spiritual guidance of his guardian angel St. Michael the Archangel. With Michael's assistance, Mark learned about many different sorts of angels, good and evil. Unexpectedly, while still in high school, Michael and the angels worked with him on his first exorcism. We read about Mark's surprise that others around him did not communicate with God, angels and demons. How he saw the spirits of those buried in the cemetery behind his childhood home. How Mark carried his mystical gifts with him into adulthood. We read about his experiences as an ordinary member of society and during his time as a Benedictine monk. Along with using the gifts we normally associate with psychics, Mark has found himself performing spirit clearings, exorcisms and healings. He has spoken to people one on one and in large groups about his experiences as a mystic. Mark Janssen has written Reach for the Stars to assure others that their paths through life are always with the love and companionship of their guardian angels. As a mystic child he was greatly blessed to have his grandmother to support him. He wishes to offer that same reassurance to children and adults. His belief is that we can all see God and our guardian angels. This is one man's story of how it came to be for him.
