El presente libro resulta de la compilación de diez artículos elaborados por un equipo de investigación que viene trabajando junto a "otros actores anónimos", hace más de un lustro, revalorizando esa "otredad". Representa, en algún sentido, un marco teórico a partir de posicionamientos, tanto ideológicos como axiológicos, que el grupo de autores y los "otros" han ido adoptando en sus recorridos tanto investigativos como de la vida cotidiana generando, madura y comprometidamente, un sólido camino hacia abordajes epistemológicos alternativos junto a sus correlatos metodológicos, tal vez estos aún incipientes. El planteo general de los artículos que se presentan corresponde a un relato teórico empírico que reivindica la diversidad de saberes desde una reflexión de convivencia, no tan sólo conveniente sino esencialmente democrática, que postula la necesidad de encuentros pluriversales, donde el valor no se restringe a la legitimación de la ciencia moderna, dando a luz otro producto: un saber colectivo fruto de la articulación horizontal, y no necesariamente verbalizada, de conocimientos de sentido común y específicos.
