As I have grown older and I find I still like to sing and dance, particularly gospel music by groups known as Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, Melvin Williams and Doug Williams, Canton Spirituals, and of course, Sam Cook and Aretha Franklin. Sometimes, I sing in my church choir, Greater Mount Calvary MB Church. Occasionally, I like to bowl and fish. When I have the time, I go to old Westside school reunions, church reunions, and the USPS reunions. It gives me a thrill to hear the church Gospel Choir and the Young People Choir sing. My mother instilled in me to "save your money and pay yourself first." I like to save coins. It was instilled in me good or bad at the time from preachers to businessmen it was achievable to achieve a juke joint to a dry cleaner to print shop to candy or grocery stores. Also, from the diet food "crisis" to the healthiest, for good health, even though some foods are still around and going strong. I attempted to eat some of them. Sub No. 2 had a very positive influence on me, shaping my character, as well as Mrs. Ernestine Halcomb Ward and Reverend Earl W. Ward Sr. and my brothers and sisters. I pay tribute to Mrs. Earnestine Ward, Mr. Earl Ward, and Connett "Skeet" Ward. Thank you for reading my book.
