Treasures in the Darkness is the book of poems about reality of living and life and God's promise as real as it gets. Not realities God says maybe to Muslims, not now to Buddhists, or no to atheists. Not realities he says yes to sometimes, most times, or once in a while. This book of poems is about human experience, in living all the times. Are there such realities? You bet there are. Storm of life is no respecter of person. Man, woman, transgender, gay, lesbian, rich, poor, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, felons, saints, or heroes, every person faces some unexpected changes, heartbreak, or affliction at some point in their lives. I know how hard it is for so many to face change in life, especially sudden or unexpected storm. But I assure you, this book of poems is not just a spiritual or inspirational book. This is about the human experience where "treasure in the darkness" is available and as real as it gets to everyone-riches in secret place. In the dark, the only thing you can see is light. This is reality, not perception. This book of poems is written to help put things, many times, things you already know in perspective, and show us ways how to cope with self, others, and adversities better by embracing the human experience in every situation. My sincere hope to every reader of Treasure in the Darkness is that you will discover, as a mature person, you are not the ones to have answer to everything, but the ones who enter into every situation with purpose. And if you choose to embrace the human experience, discover the purpose and follow the light (the Word), you surely will find your riches hidden in secret place, even in the most despised place, indeed.
