Description

I dashed to my bed, from the bathroom, picked up my phone to see if there was any message or I might probably have missed some calls. There was none as I dropped it and turned back to go get dressed for work. It was about six minutes after seven in the morning and I had to get to work at least by seven thirty a.m. My phone rang and I dashed back to my bed, picked up my phone to see who was calling. It was my girlfriend. I had the intention of calling her shortly before breakfast but she ruined my plan by calling first."Morning sunshine" I tried to sound sweet but what I heard was sour"We need to see today" She replied, and I wondered what could be wrong. We made an appointment which was supposed to be at 4:30pm.Throughout that day, before 4:30 pm, I could not concentrate at work because such as never happened. We've been dating for three years, and yes, there were misunderstandings and quarrels but there was never a time I had to lose concentration. Maybe I did something wrong, maybe she was sick, maybe... maybe... maybe... I kept thinking. I had a few colleagues who came around to find out if everything was alright and of course, I told them yes. I waited almost impatiently for work hours to be over.
