Frankie Goes to Hollywood were a group formed in Liverpool, England, UK during the '80s. The band was fronted by Holly Johnson (vocals), with Paul Rutherford (vocals), Peter Gill (drums, percussion), Mark O'Toole (bass guitar) and Brian Nash (guitar). Their debut single 'Relax', released in 1983, was banned by the BBC the following year, while at UK # 6 but then topped the Singles Chart for 5 successive weeks, going on to have lengthy chart success that year, becoming the 7th-best-ever selling UK single.
