This is a book of short stories that happen when I was a nurse. Some are funny and some can be heartbreaking. But God is in every story and every life. God blessed me with the knowledge to take care of these patients. Luanne Vinson MA BSN NCPS CPSS I was born in Oak Ridge Tennessee but moved to South Carolina when my dad was stationed at Fort Jackson, so I spent the rest of my life in South Carolina. And God called me into Nursing at a very young age. I became an LPN in 1981 and an RN in 1984. For 33 years God allowed me to step into people's lives. I saw life begin and life end and it was both a privilege and an honor for my patients to let me into their lives. God had called me into nursing, but I was also a Firefighter and EMT for five of those years. I now work as a National Peer Support Specialist with Mental Health America of South Carolina. I was also instrumental, along with my friend Cindy Krell, in starting a "Drop-In" center for those with a mental illness called the Connection Center. I currently live in West Columbia South Carolina with my two adult children, which was my greatest accomplishment. I also have a dog and two cats.
