I learned about the Stanford White moldings, painted white, from 1902, and the images of American buffaloes on the marble fireplace. #4 I was a devoted Francophile growing up, and I loved watching Julia Child on television. I took four levels of French, from junior to senior high school, and I majored in French studies at North Carolina Central University.
