The Chronicles of Clovis is not a novel but the third collection of short stories published by Saki. It was published in 1911. Many of the stories feature Clovis Sangrail, a disenchanted upper class youth with a mean streak who delights in tormenting this elders. The stories are presented as a book as a convenience to the reader interested in H.H. Munro's character Clovis Sangrail.
