We at MTW believe that to follow Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations, we must be grounded, trained, and equipped. Then the Lord can use us to be disciple-making disciples who will be the lifeblood of church-planting movements. We're also convinced that disciples are not mass-produced in a program or a classroom but in community, through the disciplined application of the gospel to our hearts and relationships. For that reason, these studies were created to be used under the guidance of a mentor, in the context of small, intimate groups of three or four people committed to each other for a season of growth. Kingdom and Mission, the second volume in the Grace, Kingdom, Mission series, surveys the biblical and theological foundations for mission and explores the nature of mission-not as a mandate, but as central to God's own nature and his church's identity. Our prayer is that the Spirit will use these lessons as a tool for life-on-life discipleship; a vehicle for the creation of mission communities; and a catalyst for inspiring ever-deepening, sacrificially-intensifying missional engagement, both locally and globally.
