Description

"I don't think these fanatics understand about the cycle of lives. Their haste, their destructive energy, their whole attitude, is that of a gambler who wagers all on one throw of a coin. It's my impression that they think we only have this one life." The violent progress of the One Religion through the land of Sheruflag has overturned the peaceful order in the quiet rural area between the city of Levrik and the southern coast. To limit the damage to the wider community, the village elders have exiled or shunned many who were too close to the old ways for comfort. As they travel far from their homes, each of these people must forge a new life and find a way back to their spiritual path. For those who carry a burden of guilt for the damage done to their former community, this includes the need to find a way to atone for their mistakes, a redemptive good to counter-balance the harm that they caused.
