I was born to a military dad in the enchanted island of Puerto Rico, USA. My parents were divorced when I was nine. I was uprooted and tossed about between them and my grandmother. I went to nine different schools, which made it very difficult to grow relationships. During my growing years, I felt like a flower that was cut and not allowed to bloom--dehydrated and uprooted, neglected and forgotten, deprived of care and affection.
