The Book That Changed My Life is the outcome of a public participation project run by Scottish Book Trust in 2009. Scottish Book Trust invited people all over Scotland to write stories about the books that have made an impact on them. This book contains a selection of the most inspirational stories about books from members of the public and well known authors. Scottish Book Trust is a leading agency for the promotion of literature, reading and writing in Scotland, developing innovative projects to encourage adults and children to read, write, and be inspired by books. It is a non-profit organisation funded by Scottish Arts Council, sponsorship and other grants, based in the heart of Edinburgh's Literary Quarter on the Royal Mile.
